Workflow Check
Know where your workflow stands in three days
The starting point for the Workflow Services: we analyse one workflow from a business perspective or review existing workflows technically – and you receive a short report with a clear recommendation.
Two focus options
You choose which question the check should answer when you commission it.
Business – process analysis
Where does a particular workflow lose time, money or traceability today, what do these weak points cost – and is it suitable for automation?
Technical – review
Are your existing workflows and your use of Temporal robust, maintainable and ready for operation?
How the check works
- 1
Preliminary meeting
Clarify the goal, focus and documents; agree on contacts and access.
- 2
Analysis
Go through the workflow with the business unit and IT: steps, systems involved, error cases, rework, deadlines and volumes – for a review, also code and operation.
- 3
Assessment
Estimate the weak points and their costs and assess suitability for automation; for a review, measure the findings against proven patterns.
- 4
Wrap-up
Hand over the report and explain it in a meeting.
What you receive – and what we need
The report
- the weak points of the workflow with a rough estimate of their costs – for a review, the findings ranked by urgency
- a reasoned assessment of whether and how the workflow can be automated – including whether Temporal or a process suite is the better fit
- a recommendation with concrete next steps
- the risks and open questions ahead of an implementation
What we need from you
- existing descriptions of the workflow; for a review, read access to code and documentation
- one person responsible on the business side and one on the technical side
- time from those involved for interviews and the final meeting
And then?
The report can serve as the basis for your own implementation or for a proposal from us. It does not commit you to any further engagement.
If you want to go further, Workflow Analysis, Workflow Architecture and implementation build directly on the check.
